Speaker Profile: Catharina de Lange Davies

Catharina de Lange Davies is professor in biophysics at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. Her research interest is transport of drugs and nanoparticles in tissue. She is studying transport mechanisms in tumour tissue and cells to identify the barriers for successful delivery of therapeutic agents, and how to overcome the barriers. Currently she is working on how ultrasound and microbubbles can be used to improve delivery of drugs and nanoparticles to tumour and brain tissue.
